One last tibit: African America Entertainers

Just wanted to share one last bit of history, black entertainment. African American entertainers have been on the scene, even during the times of segregation. They couldn’t stay in hotel establishments unless they entered through the back door and sometimes that wasn’t allowed. During these times of personal embarrassment and when they tried to shut down the dignity of the african american entertainer, these individuals gave it all during every performance. Why would they do that after all they would have to endure? Because it was what the loved to do. It was what they were born to do. And to lose that would almost be like chopping off an arm. God gifted and blessed us with these entertainers who have opened the doors for todays artists. Black, white, hispanic, as well as others who still sample the music and dancing. So to those early african american entertainers, I say Bravo and thank you.
